Taking a break
These last few months have been jamb packed. I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for a break!
I’ll be taking the rest of December off from blogging and social media. There will be some relaxing, hopefully seeing some family even if only on the computer screen, some thinking and planning for new blog posts and ways I can serve you, but mostly, I’m going to be reading, relaxing, and doing some writing of my own! I can still be reached, just hit me up through the contact tab.
I don’t want to leave you completely empty-handed over the next few weeks. I have some great articles to help you get inspired, like 7 ways to refill your creative well, and Having permission to write.
If you need some help with goal setting, check out this video where I talk about how much you should write each day and finding that sweet spot, and of course there’s this one on my most favourite topic: setting achievable and exceed able goals.
And if you are finding this time of year particularly difficult, as many of us do, with or without a pandemic, here’s what I have to say on writing with depression (something I experience daily), and this one on how we can find comfort in our writing during a pandemic.
If you want to treat yourself, give yourself a gift, reward yourself for good writing behaviour this year (or encourage better writing behaviour for next year), don’t forget to grab my self-directed coaching program, The Daring Writer.
In The Daring Writer, I cover all the ways to silence your saboteur. We walk through goal setting so you have that sense of accomplishment after each writing session. And we work through how to embrace your writing career.
I believe that all of us have a right to write. This pandemic has wreaked havoc on our mental health, emotional health, and our financial health, so for a limited time I am offering The Daring Writer for a very special price of $47, with an extra special bonus available until December 10, 2020.
Most of all, Ebby and I wish you all a safe holiday season.
Until next year . . .
